A native Minnesotan, James Plante is known for his quirky characters and dynamic energy on and off the stage. James has performed in many of the venues in Minneapolis and the Twin Cities such as; Minnesota Opera Company, University of Minnesota, Mill City Summer Opera, and Theatre Latte Da (MN). 

   

After studying at the University of Minnesota, James furthered his studies by earning a Master's degree in opera performance.

   

After over a decade of performing and teaching  regionally and in NYC, James is currently located in Minneapolis and is represented by Moore Creative Talent.
